Natxo is a young man from Getafe, the son of music teachers, who began composing music at the age of 14 and who, at 18, is taking a leap in popularity. In their playlist we can find things like Childish Gambino, Steve Lacy or Blanco Palamera, and we can also add names like C. Tangana or Sen Senra if we listen to compositions that move comfortably between indie and rap.
Only 800 people follow him on Instagram, but be careful because among them are Teo Lucadamo, Alba Morena, Ghouljaboy, Parquesvr or Russowsky himself.
In 2024 he stood out with ‘Brown Eyes’, a song built on a couple of synthesizer notes, half rapped, which also incorporated a piano bridge, and whose chorus declared, unforgettable, that “brown eyes are undervalued.”
He has published a couple of EP’s, with romantic songs like ‘parque’ and ‘uh la la’. But without a doubt it is the theme called ‘flowers’ that can catapult him. The original version of the song was published a few months ago, closing ‘Småland’ (EP called after the children’s area of Ikea), but it is his new remix with Barcelona’s Chini Tacchini that is taking the lead. It’s our Song of the Day today. In a few days it has 65,000 views on Spotify, and has been added to several playlists, including international ones. Specifically, we have found it in the “New Music Fridays” of Germany, Mexico or Japan (!!), which Natxo has not been slow to celebrate on social networks.
The main hook of ‘Flores’ was especially the bittersweet chorus “In my sky it rains flowers, colorful butterflies, poppies and tears from you.” Now it is a renewed production, much richer, in which Chini Tacchini sings the chorus but also adds new verses (“I see you everywhere”), which will be irresistible to fans of Judeline or Babi. The charm of the original (like that “I’ve gotten used to your bad mood”) remains, but grown with the new structure. Does it surprise anyone that this can stick at the time when ‘BBY WOW’ is sweeping the world?
