Decline, sharper than ever in “Someone is playing at watching us”

The Valencian dream pop and post-punk group Slope He surprises us with his sharpest theme so far. This is “Someone Plays Watching Us”, a preview of his next work.

“The End of the West” will be the next release of this young Valencian group made up of musicians between twenty-one and twenty-four years old. It is planned for October 16 and at the moment we can already listen to “Deseo fugaz” –released in May– “Disappear (what have you dreamed?)) –in July– and now “Someone plays to look at us”, which has been produced by Truman Fernández (garbí).

Decline can become one of your top national bands if you connect with the music of international names like The Chameleons or Slowdive, and national names like La Plata or Triángulo de Amor Bizarro. Although, for this specific song, the group cites among its references artists such as black midi, Crack Cloud or the Valencian Caro Kann.

The group previously released the EP “Our hug” in 2025, which was preceded by the singles “Barreras” and “Invisible” in 2023 and “La Cuerda/Ceniza” in 2024. After performing in various Spanish cities alone or opening for VVV (Trippin’you), we will be able to see them in concert in Valencia (November 6, Loco Club), together with Perfecto Miserable.
