The Zigarros They return after reminding us of their essence in “A Magical World” with a song that speaks loud and clear. “The world is a man’s business” is a great insult to those who still confuse power with superiority, authority with arrogance, and strength with the inability to show weakness. A song that ironically points directly to certain male attitudes that, because common, are still absurd. “The world is still full of clumsy and insecure men who don’t know how to listen and who, perhaps, should start to step aside”
Beyond the bad temper of the song, the message of pacifist desire that defines “Meat with potatoes” is captured in the single, The Zigarros They ask that the world change, be humanized and become a slightly more livable place. The single opens a new window to the universe of the album and continues to discover a collection of songs in which the band once again uses rock & roll to speak, openly, about the world in front of them.
