“Artificial Focs”, the classic by Antònia Font according to Anna Andreu

After more than a year accompanying the concerts of the tour of “Vigil”, Anna Andreu officially publishes his version of “Focs artificialis”, with Jordi Matas as a guest.

The version of this classic song by Antonia Font has become one of the most special moments of his live shows with Marina Arrufat. Now it has gone through the studio to give it shape with Jordi Matas.

The song, originally included on “To Russia” (01) by Antonia Font, has been recorded live by Joan Pons (El Petit de Cal Eril) and produced by Jordi Mataswho also participates on guitar. On the violin and choirs the talent of Marina Arrufatwhile Andreu’s voice and electric guitar preserve the intimacy and naturalness that characterize his interpretations.

This publication also comes at a particularly sweet time for the author. Since its launch in 2025, “Vigil” has received recognition from critics and the public, accumulating nominations at the MIN Awards and the Alícia Premises, and an award at the Núvol Premises. But it has been above all live where the album’s songs have finished consolidating the bond with the public, a result that the artist celebrates with this new version.

In the coming weeks, Anna Andreu and Marina Arrufat will continue performing at concerts and festivals in the territory. Below we share the latest dates of the tour. “Vigil”:
