The last weekend of June Viana celebrates the tenth anniversary of MUGACU Festwhere groups like Sidecars, Xoel López and Iseo & Dodosound.
On June 26 and 27, the Navarrese town of Viana will once again become one of those great little cultural refuges where music, gastronomy and heritage coexist naturally. Mugacu Fest reaches its tenth anniversary in 2026, consolidating a proposal that for a decade has shown that another way of understanding festivals is still possible: independent, sustainable and deeply linked to the territory.
For this very special edition, the festival has put together a poster headed by Sidecars and Xoel Lópezin what will also be their only performances in the north of the peninsula, accompanied by names like Iseo & Dodosound, Zea Mays, Rata, Paco Pecado, David Van Bylen or From Disco To Ciscocompleting a program that will once again be divided between two of the most emblematic spaces of the festival: the Serrat Gardens and the Ruins of San Pedro.
The response from the public once again confirms the excellent moment that the festival is experiencing. A few days before its celebration, tickets for Saturday’s event are already sold out, while Friday has already exceeded 85% of the capacity, leaving only the last tickets available. As a novelty, this edition will also debut a unified payment system at all food and drink points, a measure with which the organization seeks to streamline the operation of the venue and continue improving the public’s experience.
Beyond the strictly musical, Mugacu Fest continues to reaffirm a cultural model that has also demonstrated its impact on the local environment, benefiting dozens of businesses each year and consolidating the festival as an important tool for economic and social revitalization within Viana.
