It has been totally unexpected news, but everything seems to indicate that the band Faith No More will return to the stage next year. They have unleashed the hare with a cryptic message on social networks.
The American band has shared a publication on their social networks that makes clear the beginning of a new tour or, at least, a new stage. The image shows the iconic eight-pointed star logo over a crowd and a single highlighted date: 2027.
Added to this track is information published by Pollstar, which ensures that Faith No More has reached a agreement with the Brazilian entertainment company 30e to develop future international tours, which leads us to think that we will be able to see them on stage again with Mike Patton as vocalist.
Let us remember that the group stopped all activity five years ago. In fact, the lineup had to cancel their 2021-2022 tour due to Mike Patton’s mental health issues, including their long-awaited performance at the 2022 Mad Cool Festival.
For now there is no official confirmation of new concerts, but everything indicates that we will be able to see the band again with the formation with which it lived its golden era. It should also be remembered that Chuck Mosley, vocalist of the first stage of the group, died in 2017. It would be a very special opportunity to once again enjoy hits of the caliber of “Epic”, “Midlife Crisis”, “Evidence” or “Separation Anxiety”, reviewing a discography that began with “We Care A Lot” in 1985 and, for the moment, it was closed with “Sun Invictus”, published in 2015.
