Ortiga and Parquesvr get tough to the rhythm of cumbia in “Tapuñalo”

Nettle and Parksvr They bring to light “Tapuñalo”, a declaration of intentions in the form of cumbia in which they merge both universes.

In recent years, Ortiga has established itself as one of the most unique voices of Galician alternative pop, mixing electronics, tropicalism and humor live, and gaining presence at festivals with albums that reinforce its festive and unprejudiced identity. In parallel, Parquesvr has established itself as one of the most provocative projects on the state indie scene, combining post-punk and an irreverent attitude with lyrics full of irony and social criticism that have made them a cult group within the alternative scene.

In “Tapuñalo”, both universes come together in a metaphorical discourse that addresses, from revenge, the feeling of betrayal and lack of loyalty. The rawness and honesty of the song show Ortiga in an unusual register, accompanied by the voice of Javi Ferraraleader of Parquesvr, who fits naturally into a base where cumbia villera is intertwined with a marked Galician verbenero accent.
