El Diluvi celebrate fifteen years with new single and tour

The Valencian group The Flood A new special tour of fifteen concerts will begin on next April 18. To celebrate, they release the single “La sort de coincidence”, which surprises with a turn towards indie-rock.

The Flood continues to celebrate its fifteen years of experience with the publication of “La sort de coincidence”, the second song of this new stage and a piece that consolidates the group’s return to the stage, closely linked to this anniversary.

After their return this February with “Cantem per tu” – a song to the collective memory and the resistance of the people that marked a new stage for the band – the group now presents a proposal that focuses on love and the bonds that are born unexpectedly but become essential.

Musically, the new single represents a turn within the group’s universe: The Flood It partially moves away from its most recognizable elements, such as the bandurria or the violin, to approach a sound closer to indie-rock, with electric guitars in the foreground and a more forceful drum and bass base.

Production is once again in charge of David Rosella regular collaborator and considered the “seventh member” of the band, thus maintaining the artistic coherence of the project.

The video clip, directed by Cris Centeno and with photography of Jaume Verdúis presented as a three-minute episode of an ensemble romantic comedy with a nineties sitcom aesthetic. Inspired by the series of the nineties, it combines classic codes with a current language, playing between nostalgia and the reinterpretation of the genre. The story revolves around two characters about to confess their love, surrounded by comic figures who build a universe full of humor, chaos and tenderness.
