Wegow, in “Creditors’ pre-consciousness”

The Wegow ticketera informs through Instagram that it enters into a bankruptcy proceedings. “We want to communicate in an open and honest way that we have initiated the legal process of preoccancing of creditors, a step that, although difficult, we consider necessary to seek solutions that ensure the future viability of our project.”

They say that “like so many cultural companies, we have suffered the impact of a combination of factors that have weakened our financial stability: the still palpable consequences of pandemic, inflation of structural costs or the uncertainty of cultural consumption.”

Wegow says that he is working on solutions for solutions for promoters in the context of the preoconcia. They also send a message of “tranquility” because this measure does not imply “the paralysis of operations” but “reorder the activity to recover normality.”

The announcement occurs a year after Enrique “Bubby” Sanchís, Wegow sales director, made a homophobic attack in a book firm in retirement. Specifically, he called “shit red” and “fag” to the writer and journalist Fonsi Loaiza. Several artists withdrew their Wegow tickets and the company fired this person, denying that he was a founder, against what was being said.
