The cast of artists who will perform at Donald Trump’s inaugural event at the White House includes people like Billy Ray Cyrus (father of Miley Cyrus), Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Snoop Dogg, Gavin DeGraw and Lee Greenwood, as reported by Forbes.
The list is a rarity, since the musical news that the leader of the conservatives used to leave is that artists asked him not to use their songs at their rallies. It happened with Jack White and Foo Fighters. It is also true that there were those who supported him, like Anuel AA.
When the news is known that there was evidence to convict Trump for trying to subvert the 2020 elections and he is officially the first criminal president; several artists have answered the phone. Among the artists who will perform for him, due to their international nature, the Village People and a woman, Carrie Underwood, stand out. Both have had to justify their presence at the event.
Carrie Underwood said: “I love our country and it is an honor to have been asked to sing at this inauguration and be a small part of this historic event. “It fills me with humility to respond to the request at a time when we must all be together for unity and looking to the future.”
Village People have said something similar on Facebook: «We know that this will not make some of you happy, but we believe that music is meant to be played without paying attention to politics. Our song ‘YMCA’ is a global anthem that we hope unites the country after a tumultuous and divisive campaign, in which our preferred option to win the elections, lost.
