After books dedicated to great festivals such as “Macrofestivals” by journalist Nando Cruz and “Antineutral” by Pepo Márquez, two new titles arrive, but this time focused on festivals with smaller capacity.
In “Microfestivals and other possible scenarios“, Nando Cruz brings the reader closer to a wide variety of initiatives that are totally opposed to the huge and overcrowded festivals that predominate in Spain. From reggae festivals at the top of the mountains to flamenco clubs, it is a book that proposes and presents alternatives that give a break to the “musical macrofarms.”
On the other hand, the collaborator of this house Luis Benavides narrates in “ATTITUDE. Life at mini-festivals“stories through reflections and memories of people who organize and have participated in music festivals for the simple fact of enjoying them, from self-management and totally artistic purposes. The personality of the organizers, mostly individuals and non-profit groups, has a lot of weight throughout the various chapters of the book.
Both titles appear from the hand of Sílex and are now on sale.
