Timothée Chalamet carries Dylan’s deep catalog to SNL

Timotheé Chalamet is increasingly winning Devotos fans of Bob Dylan. In his third time as SNL host, the actor from ‘A Complete Unknown’ has also played the role of musical guest, singing three songs from the legendary musician: ‘Outlaw Blues’, ‘Three Angels’ and ‘Tomorrow is a long time’ .

Being able to choose classics recognizable by anyone as’ Like a Rolling Stone ‘or’ Blowin ‘in the Wind’, Chalamet has preferred to choose some of the least known songs of the singer -songwriter. ‘Outlaw Blues’ is included in one of Dylan’s most acclaimed albums, ‘Bringing It All Back Home’. However, it is not the case of the other two.

Accompanied by James Blake al piano, the actor continued with ‘Three Angels’, a spoken piece taken from the album ‘New Morning’. Finally, he took the acoustic guitar to sing ‘Tomorrow is A Long Time’, first published with the compilation ‘Greatest Hits Vol. II’ of 1971 in the form of live recording during a concert at the Town Hall in New York in 1963.
