This is what ‘Runway’ sounds like, the collaboration of Lady Gaga and Doechii

The final trailer for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has arrived with a surprise. Initially, it was known that Lady Gaga would make a cameo in the sequel to the 2006 film. Now we know that it is more than that. Gaga will be part of the film’s official soundtrack in a song with Doechii. This one is called ‘Runway’ and we already know what it sounds like.

‘Runway’ is not only the title of the song, but also the name of the fashion magazine run by Meryl Streep’s character in the film, Miranda Priestly. The theme plays throughout the trailer, especially Doechii’s bars: “Serve up some ‘sass’ with some ass / Spin a little, let ’em know I’m that girl.”

The music stands out for its great inspiration in house, which on the other hand is also the music that is usually heard during fashion catwalks. After Doechii’s rap in the verses, Lady Gaga reaches the chorus with a ‘killer hook’: “I can turn the dance floor into a catwalk” or “You were born for the catwalk,” she is heard singing.

‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ will also be directed by David Frankel and will hit theaters on May 1. This being a Friday, it is most likely that ‘Runway’ will also reach platforms that same day.
