The two albums that Bruce Springsteen is preparing

Bruce Springsteen has revealed during an interview with Rolling Stone that he is preparing up to two albums. One has finished it, but the problem is that he wants to take out the one he has NOT finished first.

These were his words: «I am currently working on a couple of albums. I finished one, that one is already done. And I’m in the process of working on this other one that, due to the nature of the material, seems like it should come out sooner. That’s the point I’m at. I’m trying to finish it and get it out first. And then the other album that I already finished, which has not so much to do with the moment, which can come out on any date and it will work the same.

Asked if they are solo albums or with the E Street Band, he responded that it is “a surprise.” No further details have been given about these launches, but it seems difficult for them to arrive before the end of the year, if the one that has to come out first is not even finished or sent to the factory. Although an advanced digital version could always come out.

What is certain is that the Boss has a place on many lists with the best of 2026, and perhaps even at the Grammys, with the political song ‘Streets of Minneapolis’. In fact, we understand from his words that perhaps the album he wants to release first has a more social meaning, perhaps in relation to the elections taking place this fall in the United States. But that’s pure speculation…
