Guitarricadelafuente publishes its single ‘Tramuntana’, which bases its composition on ‘Il sky in a Stanza’ (1960) by Gino Paoli, one of the great classics of the Italian song, which will popularize mine (Marina is not the only artist who lives today the “Italian dream”).
‘Tramuntana’, which closes the next guitarricadelafuente album, ‘Spanesh Leather’, is probably the most orchestral production of its repertoire published to date. Álvaro sings accompanied by a lavish string arrangement and only in the end the song throws the flight thanks to a battery rate. Lafuente finishes ‘Tramuntana’ with a recited text.
“He succumbs to love,” suggests guitarricadelafuente in this spoken word, and ‘tramuntana’ is about surrendering not only love but also to personal evolution (“this fatal wind / has transformed me into another kid”) and her “more animal side.” ‘Tramuntana’ thus still adhered to the erotic concept of ‘Spanish Leather’, talking about making love “under the sun of Levante” or examining the “soline” of the “hips” of her lover. Letter, melody and interpretation are 100% sui generis.
«The tramuntana blows so hard that sometimes they say that people go crazy. As much as you resist there will be no way to prevent you from staping you, ”says Guitarrica. «I wrote this song with many talented friends and we made this video carrying the turbulent wind to one of the most bustling cities in the world. Because as much as you get away you will not be able to escape from him ». The video of ‘Tramuntana’ continues to guitaricadelafuente in plane sequence interpreting the song while walking through the streets of -Pares- the Queens neighborhood, in New York.
‘Tramuntana’ is the third single extracted from ‘Spanish Leather’ after ‘Full Time Papi’ and ‘Future lovers’. You can remember Jenesaispop’s recent talk with guitarricadelafuente here.
