The Stone Roses’ first single is reissued in physical format

Time passes at full speed and it is forty years since the release of the first single by The Stone Roses. Now, as a celebration, their first single will be reissued in physical format.

The Stone Roses are, without a doubt, one of the most important bands to emerge from Manchester and one of those that marked an era with their first singles and their first album, considered one of the best in the history of pop that emerged in the British Isles.

Now, a collaboration between the original label, Thin Line and the Manchester record store Vinyl Revival will make possible the reissue in physical format of what was their first single forty years ago and which included the songs “So Young” and “Tell Me.” And the really important thing is that it had never been reissued since it was released in 1985. It is a limited edition on “raspberry” colored vinyl, for charitable purposes in favor of the association Young Lives Versus Cancerto which one hundred percent of the profits will be allocated.

Both songs were produced by Martin Hannetta reference producer from Manchester, through whose hands they passed from Joy Division to a good part of the bands of Factory Records. At that time The Stone Roses were Ian Brown, John Squire, Andy Couzens, Pete Garner and Alan ‘Reni’ Wren.

You can buy it in this same emailalthough hurry because it is a limited edition of 1,500 copies.
