The Killer Barbies return with album, book and live shows

Although they acknowledge having continued rehearsing and in contact, the news has taken us by surprise. The Killer Barbies They come back and they do it with different things: a new album, a book and concerts.

The Killer Barbies were one of the Spanish groups that best mixed pop. rock and punk in the nineties, something they developed through four albums “Dressed To Kiss” (95), “Only For Freaks” (96), “Big Muff” (98) and “Sin Is In” (03), a compilation, remixes and several EP’s and singles. They later disbanded but Billy King and Silvia Superstar have never stopped being in contact, hence the next Friday December 13 are going to publish a new single “I want your heart and nothing more”, the first preview of “Pop will self-destruct in 4, 3, 2, 1”which will be the band’s new work that will arrive on May 9, 2025 and with which they will celebrate their thirty years in the world of music.

But that’s not all, because on May 20 they will be presenting the album at Madrid’s Sala El Sol, as the first step of some live performances that, we hope, will take them to stages throughout the country, as in the past they took them around Spain, Japan, the United States or Germany. To that we can also add a biographical book that will be full of anecdotes, photos and unpublished documents and in which many of the musicians and artists who have accompanied the band during all these years participate.
