The Horrors change their sound again in “Lotus Eater”

Eight years after their last album “V” just a few weeks away from its twentieth anniversary, The Horrors They present us with “Lotus Eater”, a song in which they change their sound again.

This is the third preview song (after “Trial By Fire” and “The Silence That Remains”) of what will be their new work, “Night Life”and a piece in which they move away from their sound once again to explore new musical perspectives.

“Lotus Eater” distances itself from the rawer and more abrasive The Horrors to approach more ambient and dreamy terrain, sounding electronic and maintaining a strong emotional intensity that explodes towards the end of the song. The truth is that, in this way, the British never cease to surprise us with their constant musical experiments and their ability to constantly mutate without ceasing to be themselves.

As The Horrors approaches the release of their next full-length, “Night Life”which will be released on March 21, “Lotus Eater” is a testament to the group’s natural and bold exploration, a journey leaving behind the shadows of the past and giving way to a brilliant reality.
