The first section includes the International Short Film Competition and the ZIFF – ZINEBI FIRST FILM International Competition, dedicated to first feature films by new directors. In addition to the documentary about Itoizthe festival will present three other activities linked to music: The BBK room will host the premiere of the film “Enarak”about the band of seminarians created during the Franco dictatorship. The pass will be accompanied by an exhibition and the sale of records and merchandise in the room; the documentary will be screened “The Marseillaise of Drunkards”accompanied by the concert of Loving; and the documentary will be screened “URHO LIVE AV”a performative project that is based on the sound and images recorded by the audiovisual artist Iván Torres Hernández aboard the icebreaker of the same name, flagship of the Finnish fleet.

About “Itoiz Udako Sesioak”: The discovery of a series of unreleased tapes leads to Juan Carlos Pérez, leader of the iconic group ITOIZto reflect on the dissolution of the band at its peak, after a clear change in style towards pop, which it still denies today. Juan Carlos will thus begin a cathartic journey to the essence of the group, reliving the band’s beginnings as a progressive rock group in Mutriku in the 70s, which will help him reconcile with the past.
