Sudan Archives is not “dead” or remotely

A couple of years after the relevant ‘Natural Brown Prom Queen’, Sudan Archives has returned this month with a song called ‘Dead’. Pias’s press release indicates that if ‘Natural Brown Prom Queen’ narrated the moving of Cincinnati to Los Angeles and his passage to adulthood as an artist and as a woman, the artist then wanted to “imagine a new and more evolved version of herself.” He took everything learned on stage and on the road back to the studio and ‘Dead’ is the result.

Our song of the day begins as a Trip Hop recording to some extent: it even seems fixed by Craig Armstrong or someone like that, but then it is pure dance floor, but nothing of the most vulgar or desperate.

Recorded in Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit, ‘Dead’ seeks to explore the possibilities of black orchestral dance music. Officially wants to be a representation of the “Black Music.” The voice has been adulterated several times with a narrative purpose, specifically that of joining his “human” self and his “machine.” One of the most immediate songs of Sudan Archives, hopefully anticipating a new work that at least for the moment has not been announced.
