Sónar Barcelona announces more than sixty names on its line-up

The Barcelona Sónar festival today revealed the first names of its programming. And the list includes, among more than sixty artists, Overmono, Nathy Peluso, Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Polo & Pan, Plastikman, Barry Can’t Swin, Helena Hauff and many more.

In total, more than sixty names have been presented that will be part of the poster for the thirty-second edition of the Barcelona Sónar, to celebrate the June 12, 13 and 14 at Fira Montjuïc and Fira Gran Vía. The most notable names are Nathy Peluso, Plastikman, Arca, Overmono and Polo & Panas well as the sessions of Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Vintage Culture, Mochakk, Barry Can’t Swim, Helena Hauff and Andres Campo.

But that’s not all, because we can also enjoy audiovisual shows by state and international artists such as Eric Prydz, BICEP, Max Cooper, Daito Manabe, Cora Novoa, Skrillex b2b Blawan, Armin van Buuren b2b Indira Paganotto, Rone with the collective (LA)HORDE and the Ballet National de Marseille, Raül Refree + Niño de Elche, or Dania & Mau Morgo. Let us add to all of them Six Sex, Yerai Cortés, Teto Preto, Tarta Relena, Lord Spikeheart, Maria Arnal, MCR-T, Branko, Samantha Hudson, DJ Heartstring, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Interplanetary Criminal, Juliana Huxtable, Kebra and many more.

This is just a small summary of everything that will be part of the poster for the next edition of the festival. Obviously, it will also feature Sónar+D again, which will reflect in 2025 on the fundamental role of technology, its social impact and its potential to shape the future of art, entertainment and our lives. The week will open with +RAIN, a festival co-produced by Sónar together with the Pompeu Fabra University based on cinema generated with AI.

Project Area will also return, the festival’s great meeting point where you can discover and interact with advanced technology, innovative design, radical thinking and cutting-edge research. The Open Call is now active to present projects, prototypes or candidate products to be exhibited in Project Area in 2025. The deadline is Sunday, December 22. To the concerts and DJ sets of Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night and the activities of Sónar+D, OFFSónar will be added one more year, which will once again bring together the most influential labels and parties on the global electronic scene in Poble Espanyol. For 2025, two opening dates have already been announced – Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11 – with the Australians RÜFÜS DU SOL (both with tickets sold out) and the ‘X’ party by the Swiss Adriatique – Thursday, June 12 -, which they repeat after its great success in the last edition. The rest of the parties will be announced in the coming weeks.
