Sabrina Carpenter goes straight to number 1 in Spain with her remarkable new album, ‘Short N’ Sweet’. In addition, it places its three main singles in the top 100 singles, with ‘Taste’ standing out these days at number 38. There is no doubt that the artist’s development in our country is positive, as her previous work, ‘Emails I Can’t Send’, did not go beyond number 83.
Fontaines DC are also making good progress. Their first album did not make it into the Spanish charts, the second reached number 60, the third number 26 and the fourth is number 9. This ‘Romance’ is, therefore, their first top 10 in Spain and also reaches number 2 on vinyl… only behind Sabrina Carpenter.
Straight into the top five is Beny Jr’s ‘Hopefully I’m Doing Well’, while Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Live’ comes in at number 12. The only other entry is Travis Scott’s ‘Days Before Rodeo’, which comes in at number 53, while ‘Utopia’ remains at number 61 after having been number 2, and staying there for 57 weeks.
The biggest rise is ‘El amor de la clase que sea’ by Viva Suecia, which re-emerges in the top 20, with 99 weeks of permanence and a nice platinum record for the distribution of 40,000 copies. Approximately half are physical units, and half, streaming points.
