Quevedo maintains number 1 and number 2 in Spain with Elvis Crespo and Nueva Línea, respectively. ‘La Graciosa’ is triple platinum and ‘Al golpito’, double platinum. Both songs have ended up even overshadowing what were the first singles from Quevedo’s album: ‘Neither drunk’ is at number 11 (double platinum) and ‘Scandic’ has already dropped to number 34 (platinum).
“Hurricane Baifo” has thus prevented ‘Dai Dai’ by Shakira and Burna Boy from reaching the official number 1 in Spain, despite the promo that the World Cup has given it, also won by our country.
The song remains at number 3, certified platinum, after having been number 2, making it one of the biggest hits of the summer. As such, she will be greatly celebrated at the upcoming Shakira Stadium concerts. But clearly we find it already going backwards: today on Spotify Spain it falls to 14th place.
Something similar has happened in the UK, where ‘Dai Dai’ has been at number 2 contained by the duo of Olivia Dean and Sam Fender, which is breaking records. Of course, Shakira can be happy because her song with Burna Boy has been number 1 on Spotify Global for a total of 35 days, which seems to have come to an end due to the push of… ‘Loser’ by Tame Impala.
Returning to Spain, the strongest entry is ‘Zizi’ by Ozuna with Omar Courtz, which reaches number 15. Next week it aims to climb to the top 10. There are 7 entries from Karol G’s album that we have already commented on in the analysis of the album list (notably ‘Bby Wow’ at number 30). And finally we found 2 more entries in very modest positions: ‘Spicy’ by Fronti, Brytiago and Myke Towers in 90; and ‘Mentira’ by Ryan Castro and Feid at number 98.
