Rita Payés silences La Revuelta with ‘So many things’

Rita Payés visited La Revuelta yesterday and gave a surprise performance to end the program. The Catalan artist brought a string quartet to Broncano’s program to perform ‘Tantas Cosas’, taken from her third album, ‘De Camino al Camino’. The video of the performance can be seen on RTVE, at minute 6 of the 10 that his part lasts.

The main guest of the space was Marc Cucurella, defender of the Spanish National Team, “first footballer of the season” and subject of a meme that went viral a few months ago thanks to a repeated chant. The one who said: “Cucu Cucurella, eat a paella.”

It wasn’t until the very end of the show when it was the singer’s turn. She crossed paths with the footballer, they had a rather insubstantial conversation and her section of the program began. Payés tried to get Broncano to play a plastic trombone that “actually sounds very good,” but there was no way: “They told me to play the one from El Hormiguero, but I don’t know it,” the singer joked.

While directing the musicians, Rita exhibited her delicate voice, which caused total silence in the Teatro Príncipe. The jazz and bossa soloist will present her latest album at the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid on January 10, 2025, as part of the new Inverfest concert series.
