Rigoberta Bandini sings to Pamela Anderson in her new single

Rigoberta Bandini pays tribute to Pamela Anderson in her new single, named precisely after the artist. Through its ingenious and repetitive chorus “PAM-PAM-PAM-Pamela”, the Catalan presents a song that captures the emotion of the original moment and of Pamela Anderson’s career first as an icon, then as a plague victim and now, simply as a woman, in a phoenix rising from the ashes in which they tried to submerge it.

The song is the second of her long-awaited next full-length album after releasing the motherly “Si muiera Tomorrow” a few months ago. Regarding her new single, Paula states, “I composed the song the day after watching her documentary because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. in her story and how much it had inspired me to see a woman like her reinvent herself in that way. I thought that this inner strength transcended the human and that I wanted to write a song to this new goddess.”

The result is brilliant. Rigoberta Bandini is not only content with storytelling but also fantastically orchestrates a song that has as many layers as references: one goes through 90s rock, dance music that reinforces a play on words “desPAMpanante” and the most choreographable pop in his emotional tribute to the artist.
