While promoting ‘The Last Show Girl’, the film she stars in, directed by Gia Coppola and premiering in January, Pamela Anderson is the subject of different tributes. Beyoncé has played the actress in the short video for ‘Bodyguard’, and now Rigoberta Bandini becomes ‘Pamela Anderson’ in the second single from her new album, ‘Jesucrista Superstar’.
‘Pamela Anderson’ is a new feminist composition by Rigoberta Bandini, which uses the figure of the actress to point out the machismo and sexualization that women face. “We are all Pamela” is her war cry.
Rigoberta delivers, on the other hand, another of those crazy compositions for which she is known. In ‘Pamela Anderson’ sounds coexist that refer to the pop of the 60s, the glam of the 70s and the new wave of the 80s… and they all lead to a choral ending that takes the song to pure delirium.
The video clip for ‘Pamela Anderson’ was released at 12:00 and, in it, Bandini transforms into different versions of the ‘Baywatch’ actress.
‘Jesucrista Superstar’, Bandini’s second album, goes on sale in 2025. The first single, ‘If I died tomorrow’, was also dedicated to “women strong as the wind.” His video clip has arrived full of references to different authors.
