QOTSA cancel the rest of their tour due to Josh Homme’s health

Queens of the Stone Age have cancelled all remaining 2024 dates in order to “prioritise” the health of Josh Homme, who requires “essential medical care” until the end of the year.

The American band made the announcement today on their Instagram account, with a message in which they updated all fans on the group’s situation while cancelling, and in some cases postponing, all remaining concerts in 2024: “Josh has had no choice but to prioritize his health and receive essential medical care for the remainder of the year,” they wrote.

All of their festival dates have been cancelled, while headline dates in different cities have been postponed to 2025. This news comes a month after the band cancelled some shows in Europe due to an “emergency operation” in the United States for the vocalist.
