Karol G continues to dominate the Spanish charts, repeating at number 1 on both the Singles (‘Si antes te había conocí’) and Albums (‘Mañana será bonito’). The album, which has gone triple platinum, is still far from the figures of Bad Bunny’s ‘Un verano sin ti’ (7 platinums), which also remains in the top 3.
The biggest rise is for Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, which goes from number 10 to number 7, and the strongest entry is Post Malone’s ‘F-1 Trillion’, which goes straight to the top 12. It’s not a bad figure for a country album in Spain, but it is a long way from the number 1 achieved by the album in both the United Kingdom and the United States, where it has exceeded 250,000 units.
Post Malone has also been top 1 in Norway, Holland and New Zealand, and top 5 in Germany with his new album. Countries that have been just as unimpressed as Spain have been France (top 21) and of course Italy (top 24).
The list of entries in our country is completed with ‘Popular Monster’ by metalheads and rappers Falling In Reverse (top 59), ‘ATP’ by the urban project NSQK (top 80) and ‘Endtime Signals’ by Swedish metalheads Dark Tranquillity (top 84).
As a curiosity, Alcalá Norte must be about to return to the top 100, as they climb to number 6 on the vinyl chart. This alternative list is once again topped by ‘Cowboys de la A3’ by Arde Bogotá.
