Poppy, not just a metalhead in ‘Negative Spaces’

Poppy has announced that her new album, ‘Negative Spaces’, will be released on November 15. It will be the follow-up to works such as ‘Flux’ and last year’s ‘Zig’.

Their recent metal-tinged single ‘New Way Out’ will be on the LP, as will the equally hard-hitting ‘they’re all around us’. Not surprisingly, the album is produced by Jordan Fish, former keyboardist and percussionist for Bring Me The Horizon.

So as not to scare off all those who are scared by the screaming part of the video, it is noted that the album will also have “delicately served pop”, “80s retrofuturism” and “2000s pop punk”. Another example is a 1-and-a-half-minute cut called ‘hey there’, which is more relaxed and seems to serve as an interlude before the title track.

This will be the tracklist according to some leaks collected on Reddit and Popjustice, although there is no official confirmation.
1.-have you had enough? – 3:38
2.-the cost of giving up – 3:17
3.-they’re all around us – 3:24
4.-yesterday – 0:47
5.-crystallized – 3:06
6.-vital – 3:20
7.-push go – 3:32
8.-nothing – 3:04
9.-the center’s falling out – 2:25
10.-hey there – 1:28
11.-negative spaces – 2:55
12.-surviving on defiance – 3:28
13.-new way out – 3:22
14.-tomorrow – 0:51
15.-halo – 3:41
