The Madrid-Malaga group Biznaga is back with a second preview of what will be their fifth work. And once again they combine music with political discourse in “Imaginación política”.
First there was “El eutividad” (Enthusiasm) – their special form of political dissidence – and now comes “Imaginación política” (Political Imagination), a piece in which the group seems to question whether there are other options to capitalism. According to the band, it is an anti-summer song, a song for those who cannot afford to stop in the summer.
Biznaga’s fifth work is one of the most anticipated on the independent national scene, halfway between punk, indie rock and pop, an album that will follow the celebrated “Bremen does not exist” (22).
You will be able to see Biznaga soon in English: Vallecas (14 July, La Karmela), Gijón (19 July, Tsunami Xixón), Pegalajar (2 August, Charcarock), Aranda de Duero (8 August, Sonorama), San Pedro Alcántara (7 September, San Pedro Rock), Zaragoza (11 October, TBA), Barcelona (12 October, Paral lel 62), Alhaurín de la Torre (19 October, La Termica Village), León (25 October, TBA), Fuenlabrada (8 November, Casa de la Música), Valencia (28 November, Sala Moon), Castellón (29 November, El Terra), Alicante (30 November, TBA), San Sebastián (5 December, Dabadaba), Bilbao (6 December, Kafé Antzokia) and Vitoria (7 December, Jimmy Jazz).
