Rumours of an Oasis reunion have been rife in the UK this weekend, and now they’ve been confirmed. Oasis have announced a reunion tour for 2025 UK and Ireland only. There will be 14 dates taking place between July and August next year and they will be the only ones in Europe, the group confirms. The dates are in Cardiff on July 4 and 5, in Manchester on July 11, 12, 19 and 20, in London on July 25 and 26 and August 2 and 3, in Edinburgh on August 8 and 9, and in Dublin on August 16 and 17.
Tickets for Oasis’ 2025 concerts go on sale this Saturday, August 31 at 8am in Ireland and 9am in the UK. Oasis have confirmed they are considering taking the tour outside Europe.
The Sunday Times initially believed the Oasis reunion rumours, venturing to claim that the group would be resurrected after 15 years apart to play 10 shows at Wembley Stadium, plus a special concert at Manchester’s Heaton Park. They cited “industry sources” as the source of the information.
The official announcement from Oasis came today, August 27, on the band’s website. And this time, what they announced could not be a reissue because the reissue of their debut on the occasion of their 30th anniversary is already scheduled for this Friday, August 30.
As expected, Liam Gallagher had taken to trolling X commenting on this reunion, with tweets as contradictory as “I’m just finding out now”, “I don’t know anything”, “if you’re scared, imagine me” or “I’ll see you at the front, fat ass”. Billboard has compiled them. He had also dedicated ‘Half the World Away’ to “fucking Noel Gallagher” at the Reading festival.
Noel Gallagher had given an interview to the BBC talking about the reissues, commenting on how there are tapes that have been lost for 30 years, but he had not confirmed anything. Today we can say that Oasis are making a comeback.
