The Galician Nettle and the Catalan living in Madrid Joe Twilight They party together in their new single. “Noche de cubata” is a song that is 100% committed to the dance floor, combining electronics with Latin saxophones.
“In Spain, sometimes, cigar night.” That is the phrase that Ortiga and Joe Crepúsculo repeat in a song that is one hundred percent danceable and that moves between the two musical universes in which we know Galician and Catalan. That is to say, Latin sounds and old-style electronics intertwine to create something that only they could have created.
As they say, their paths were destined to cross sooner or later. And that moment has arrived. The song is released in collaboration between the Raso Estudio and El Volcán labels, being the first song that both artists compose together. A song with just seven words (“in Spain, sometimes a cigar night”) that are enough to stick like a mantra in your brain and not leave there for a long time.
“Noche de cubatas” also has a video clip shot and directed by Lorenzo Negueruelaa regular collaborator of Oortiga.
