Nebulossa admits that she cried because of her criticism at Eurovision

María Bas and Mark Dasousa, from Nebulossa, have visited the set of Socialité to chat about their new song, ‘Gossip’. Since the single directly addresses the issue, the conversation has revolved around the criticism that Mery received for her performance at Eurovision. She has admitted that many managed to make her cry. Not only that, but many people have asked for forgiveness.

After achieving 22nd position in Malmö, Nebulossa explained to the Telecinco program that ‘Gossip’ was a way to “relativize” everything that happened in Eurovision. “Maybe I’m in the background, because she is the one who has received the harshest criticism,” says Dasousa.

Thus, he confirms how the insults and criticism affected the singer: «I saw her at home that she started crying and it affected her. We were in the spotlight and people have every right to give their opinion, and we have the right to take it as a joke,” explains the producer.

Mery also revealed what was the comment that hurt her the most at that moment: “It was a way to turn the tables on the haters. What affected me the most was being told “your family must be super ashamed.” He added that these types of comments “get to you.”

In addition, the vocalist also said that there were people who had insulted her without paying attention to ‘Zorra’: “They have written to us to ask for forgiveness because they have listened to her well and understood her,” she says.
