My Chemical Romance announce American tour recovering “The Black Parade”

Emo fans are celebrating. My Chemical Romance They will perform their beloved third album and a classic of the genre, “The Black Parade” (06), in its entirety on a North American tour next summer.

It will be the first time they have recovered the entire album after a single performance of the album from start to finish at the recent When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas.

Dates begin July 11 in Seattle and run through September 13 in Tampa, Florida. Each show will have a different opening act, including Violent Femmes, 100 gecs, Wallows, Garbage, Alice Cooper, Pixies, Devo, IDLES and Evanescence. For Gerard Way and company’s home state show in New Jersey on August 9, Death Cab For Cutie and Thursday They will be opening acts. Tickets are on sale now through Live Nation. The tour will be named “Long Live: The Black Parade North American Tour”.

The dates they will cover with this new tour are: Seattle (July 11), San Francisco (July 19), Los Angeles (July 26), Arlington (August 2), East Rutherford (August 9), Philadelphia (August 15), Toronto (August 22 ), Chicago (August 29), Boston (September 7) and Tampa (September 13).
