Madrid Popfest confirms Helen Love, Perdón, Amor Líquido…

Madrid Popfest will celebrate its 13th edition on March 21 and 22 at the Sala Galileo Galilei in the capital. The festival will continue to celebrate its DIY essence and its commitment to independent, sponsor-free and non-profit music.

As in previous editions, the lineup features both national names and international bets. One of these artists is Helen Love, the iconic Welsh punk-pop band. In addition, the indiepop of the Americans Chime School and the Ramones-like punk of the Scottish bands The Cords will also be present to fight.

In the Spanish-speaking part, but from the other side of the pond, arrive the Argentines Ceretti, who will present their debut album, and Matt Montero, one of the prominent faces of the Buenos Aires scene. Amor Líquido, a leading art-punk band in Spanish, and Perdón, with their charming “sad electropop” proposal, are the national confirmations of the lineup.

The tickets for Madrid Popfest are now available and the organization recommends purchasing them in advance, “given the popularity of the festival”, since the Sala Galileo Galilei has limited capacity.
