Lorde has sing again in the native language of his country in the song ‘Kāhore He Manu E’, the second advance of Marlon Williams’s next album. ‘Te Whare Tīwekawek’ will be the first Williams project entirely in Maori and will be available on April 4.
The Maori is the indigenous language of New Zealand and has become a danger of extinction, although Unesco currently classifies it as “vulnerable.” In fact, in an attempt to revive the language, the New Zealand government promised to get a million residents to speak it basically by 2040.
The author of ‘Solar Power’ has already chosen in 2021 some songs from this same album to translate them into the Maori and throw them together in an EP. Now, he has declared that singing with Williams “is one of my favorite things to do in the world.”
This, on the other hand, has praised Lorde saying that “in a very real sense,” his voice “wrote the song.” It also describes the theme, whose title could be translated as ‘There is no bird’, such as “a colorful but discouraging worm hole that is life on the road.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlejiq_skty
