Katy Perry mounts another Super Bowl in the AFL

Ten years after starring in one of the most watched performances in the entire history of the Super Bowl, Katy Perry has put on a very similar show in Australia. The grand final of the Australia Football League took place in the oceanic country, and Perry offered the musical show prior to the start of the match, which pitted Brisbane against Sydney. The victory went to Brisbane.

At the foot of the field at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Katy Perry has reviewed her old hits without forgetting the repertoire of her new album, ‘143’. Katy has appeared riding on top not of a giant tiger, but of a kind of futuristic car, and from ‘Roar’ she has gone on to ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Gorgeous’, ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Teenage Dreams’, leaning on a huge army of dancers

The media display included the installation in the middle of the field of a giant spherical stage, also silver, and Perry performed completely alone except for the appearance at one point in the show of the Australian singer Tina Arena. Together they sang ‘Chains’, Arena’s 1994 classic. Special effects were projected on screen during Katy Perry’s performance, who brought her show to a climax with ‘Lifetimes’ and finally ‘Fireworks’.
