Jay-Z defends himself against accusation of raping a minor

Last October, an anonymous woman filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of drugging and raping her in 2000, when she was 13 years old, along with another “male celebrity.” Now, she has reopened the lawsuit including the name of Shawn Carter, alias Jay-Z, as the other person who allegedly sexually abused her.

The legal document states that Jane Doe, 13, was at Radio City Music Hall in New York City trying to get into the MTV VMAs around September 7, 2000.

In an attempt to sneak into the afterparty, the plaintiff allegedly approached the limousine drivers and began talking to a Diddy’s worker. He allegedly told the plaintiff that Diddy liked “young girls.”

According to the lawsuit, the victim accepted a drink and began to feel disoriented. That’s when he found an empty room to rest. Shortly after, Diddy allegedly entered the room alongside Jay-Z and an unidentified “female celebrity.” The document details how the two rappers allegedly raped the victim in turns while the rest watched.

Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z, has published a lengthy statement on criminal, and not a civil one. “Whoever committed a crime like this against a minor should be locked up, don’t you think?” reads the document, which appears to have been written by Jay-Z himself.
