Japandroids announce their farewell album with “Chicago”

The Canadian duo Japandroids announces the release of what will be his last album, “Fate & Alcohol”and does so by releasing a new song entitled “Chicago” which is now available on platforms.

Brian King (guitar and vocals) and David Prowse (drums and vocals) They are one of the most beloved indie rock duos of the alternative scene. Since they emerged in the mid-2000s, they have given us a short but intense discography, made up of “Post-Nothing” (09), “Celebration Rock” (12), “Near To The Wild Heart Of Life” (17), the single compilation “No Singles” (10) and the direct “Massey Fucking Hall” (twenty).

Now he will join them “Fate & Alcohol”which will see the light of day October 18 through the record label Anti Records. In addition to “Chicago,” the album will include the songs “Eye Contact High,” “D&T,” “Alice,” “Upon Sober Reflection,” “Fugitive Summer,” “A Gaslight Anthem,” “Positively 34th Street,” “One Without The Other,” and “All Bets Are Off.” All songs were produced by the duo along with Jesse Gander.

Let’s hope that we can at least see them in concert again before they finally break up.
