‘Hacks’, ‘Shogun’ and ‘My Stuffed Reindeer’ triumph at the Emmys

While ‘The Bear’ was the favourite due to its many nominations for both the main Emmys and the technical-artistic ones, ‘Hacks’ has managed to win the main Emmy for Best Comedy. As El País reports, the news surprised everyone in attendance, although we can add that it is a well-deserved victory.

In its third season, ‘Hacks’ has not slowed down at any time, leaving episodes and scripts for history, and at the same time making us eager for what could be a turning point in its development for its next season. ‘Hacks’ also won the award for Best Comedy Script and of course Best Actress for Jean Smart.

However, ‘The Bear’ did win awards for some of its actors, such as Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

In the drama category, ‘Shogun’ beat out series such as ‘The Crown’, with recognition for its actors Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai. It is an adaptation of James Clavell’s novel set in 17th century Japan. Another big winner was the highly recommended ‘My stuffed reindeer’ in the Miniseries or anthology series category, also winning awards for its script and for its actors. Other interesting things were the awards for Will Smith as a screenwriter and for Jodie Foster for ‘True Detective’.
