‘Golden’ rises to No. 1 on Spanish Singles

The ‘Golden’ phenomenon does not stop. After having reached number 1 in more than 25 countries, the main song from the film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’, sung by the fictional group HUNTR/X, has reached number 1 in Spain. Climbing from seventh position, ‘Golden’ benefits from the decline of all Taylor Swift songs, although it was already on the rise.

If last week we highlighted how strange it was to see a song sung in English – ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ – occupying number 1 on Spanish Singles, this time we reiterate it, adding that ‘Golden’ is an American and South Korean co-creation. Like Swift’s single, ‘Golden’ is also a pure pop production, neither urban nor Latin.

In addition to Spain, ‘Golden’ – performed in real life by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami – has been number 1 in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, the Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Greece, the United Arab Emirates, Honduras, etc. And it has reached the top 10 in thirty countries.

As for the week’s entries, the most successful is Ana Mena with one of her best songs, ‘Lárgate’, which opens at number 31. Viva Sweden, number 1 on Spanish Records, placed ‘El bien’ at number 82 and ‘Sangre’ with Siloé at number 90.

Urban makes up the rest of the entries: Dei V and Luar La L are looking for a ‘Problem’ in position 39, while Yan Block and Panda Black demonstrate their ‘Talent’ from 74. ‘Scorpio’ by Jhayco completes the week’s entries, from 92.
