Flight 505 presents its third album on Nave 9

“Nothing is so urgent” is the title of the third album by the band from Rioja Flight 505published in March 2023. It was recorded at the R5 Studios in Oricáin, with Kolibrí Díaz in charge of the musical production, mixing and mastering of the same, and which featured three advance singles: “A ticket to any part”, “Saturdays don’t last until Tuesday”, with the collaboration of the Symphony Orchestra of the Eliseo Pinedo Professional Conservatoryand “If death comes to convince you.” In the case of “The sadness of the five”, the song that closes the album, has the collaboration of Kutxi Romero.

Flight 505 It was born in 2013 and since then it has been formed by Rubén Fernández, on guitar and voice; David de la Fuente, on guitar; Chema García, on bass; and Txiki Marín on drums from the summer of 2022, replacing Ivan “Butch” Fernádez. In 2015 they published their first album “Turbulence”with which they embark on a tour that reaches 50 concerts. Initially projected at a regional level, it ends up becoming more than two years of concerts throughout Spain, including cities such as Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Zaragoza, León, Cádiz, Valladolid, Gijón, Guadalajara, Santander, etc. After the good work done, the record company El Dromedario Records (Extremoduro, Marea, Sober, Chica Sobresalto OT, Robe, …) offers them a contract to carry out a second job. So again and under the direction of Kolibrí Diaz, they recorded their second album in 2017. “There are no stories of failure”with which they reach number 12 on the list of best-selling rock albums in the country. Its national distribution (Mediamarkt, FNAC, ELKAR, …) leads them to carry out a presentation tour in acoustic format through Málaga, Madrid, Bilbao, Pamplona, ​​Vitoria, etc. He collaborates on the album Pau Donés who invites them to open one of their last concerts on their farewell tour. They also open for Robe at the Palacio de los Deportes in La Rioja.

The group does not stop growing and is nominated in 6 applications for the MIN awards. On their last tour to date they open a good number of concerts for the historic band Tide playing in venues such as the Principe Felipe Pavilion in Zaragoza, the floating stage in Lanuza (Huesca) or the BEC! from Barakaldo. With almost 100 concerts behind them, the pandemic serves to put an unexpected end to this latest tour, in which the band decides to perform 6 consecutive concerts at the Stereo room in Logroño, two of them free for healthcare workers, for which tickets are sold out. entries in just a few days.

In 2023, his latest work “Nothing is so urgent” will be released, whose presentation in Logroño was recorded live in The Hangar room with the attendance of more than 500 people. In 2024 they continue with their presentation tour, which lands this weekend in Bilbao.

On the other hand, the Bilbao room Ship 9, located in the Maritime Museumwill close the October program with the concerts of Kaleko Urdangak + La Cachette on Friday the 25th (9:20 p.m., €13/15) and The Wappers on Sunday the 27th (1pm, free admission).
