Elon Musk calls Cardi B a “puppet” and she makes it clear to him

As happened with Eminem in Michigan, Kamala Harris has once again brought out a more than well-known face at a rally. Thus, Cardi B appeared yesterday in Milwaukee to support her candidacy for the presidency of the United States and list the reasons why she has opted for the Democratic Party.

After the speech, Elon Musk criticized the rapper in a tweet: “Another puppet who can’t speak without being given the words. Kamala’s campaign has no authenticity or real empathy,” said the director of the social network. Cardi B was quick to respond forcefully: “I’m not an Elon puppet… I’m the daughter of two immigrants who had to work their asses off to provide for me.”

She went on to claim that she was a product of “welfare,” “Section 8,” and “poverty: “I’m the product of what happens when the system is against you… But you don’t know anything about that. “You don’t know anything about the American struggle,” he concluded. Before saying goodbye, he leaves her a message: “Please fix my algorithm.”

After performances by artists like GloRilla, the Isley brothers or Flo Milli, Cardi B spoke up comparing herself to Harris: «I have been underestimated. “My success, despised and discredited,” he said. She continued by reminding the audience of the work behind a woman’s success: “Women have to work 10 times harder, perform 10 times better, and yet people question how we get to the top.”

The New Yorker revealed that she was not planning to vote this year, but that she changed her mind with Harris’ candidacy: “I had no faith in any candidate until she joined the race and said the things I wanted to hear, the things I want to happen in this country,” he confessed.

He then gave his reasons for voting for Kamala: “I believe every word that comes out of her mouth: she is passionate, compassionate, shows empathy and, above all, she is not delusional.” On the other hand, he dedicated a few words to Trump, whom he described as a “bully”: “If your definition of protection is making sure that our daughters have fewer rights than their mothers, then I don’t want it,” he concluded.
