This afternoon, at six o’clock, Dellafuente will premiere the short documentary “The Road to the Mountain”, a film in which he talks to us about his success and how he faces it.
After publishing his new work, “TORII YAMA”gather fourteen thousand people in an almost surprise concert in Granada, and sell in just one hour the seventy-five thousand tickets for his concert at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid this coming November, Dellafuente presents a short documentary in collaboration with Vevo, within the Vevo Ctrl series. A few hours before its premiere, we share a small teaser (apart from the one you can find below these lines) on our Instagram.
The Vevo Ctrl series has featured or will feature artists such as Common, Pusha T, Flo Milli, 2 Chainz, Maluma, Giggs, Rick Ross, ENNY, M. Huncho and many more.
In this short film starring Dellafuente we will hear him say things like: “For me, Dellafuente died a long time ago. I always talked about living off music, about making money with music. And it was something relatively quick.” He then argues that music is the path, not the destination: “What I like about music is making it, creating it, being in the studio, having fun, having a good time. I don’t like the rest of things. I like to build things, I like to create things that don’t exist, and give them shape, give them an outlet. In music I see myself more as a producer and composer than as an artist. In fact, I would like to work for other artists and not be the center of attention myself. I feel much more comfortable in the shadows.”
