Singer Dawn Richard has accused her former collaborator Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of abuse, TMZ and Pitchfork confirm.
The ‘new breed’ author not only names Combs, but also former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre, several labels and multiple companies associated with the rapper and producer. In total, he has been accused of 21 charges, including sexual harassment, physical violence, sex trafficking and copyright infringement.
The legal document details Richard’s entire history with Combs, from the reality show ‘Making The Band’, which gave rise to the group Danity Kane in the early 2000s, to recent events. Richard claims that during the reality show, Combs denied his fellow female cast members “food” or “rest” and used “derogatory” language toward the girls.
Richard, who was part of the trio Diddy – Dirty Money alongside Combs and Kalenna Harper, also says she witnessed Diddy “verbally” and “physically” abusing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. During these sessions, she herself was a victim of Combs’ abuse, “exhibiting uncontrollable rage during sessions and throwing objects such as records, laptops and food at walls or people.”
The accuser also claims that the defendant owes her $1.5 million in “unpaid wages and royalties.” Diddy faces multiple allegations of abuse from various people who have been part of his entourage, including Cassie, producer Lil Rod and a host of anonymous people. The allegations date back to the 1990s.
