Clem Burke dies, Blondie drummer

The death of Clem Burkewho was drums of Blondie and one of the first members to join the group.

Now, the social networks of the band have announced their death last weekend at the age of seventy years. The cause has been a cancer that had been suffering for some time.

In the band’s statement, it is said that “Clem was not only a drums, but that it was the heartbeat of Blondie. His talent, energy and passion for music were unmatched and his contribution to our music and success is incalculable. But his influence extended far beyond Blondie. His influence and contributions left an indelible mark on each project he was part.”
