Christina Aguilera, on “the birth of a new project”

On the occasion of Carcy Magazine’s birthday, Christina Aguilera has granted an interview with the French magazine in which she talks about her career, her relationship with fashion and “the birth of a new project.”

The interview begins by recalling what was the launch of ‘Dirrty’ in 2002 and Xtina says that he still carries the spirit of the song with her: “It is the number that opens many of my concerts because it is a daring statement and represents a part of me of which I am incredibly proud.”

Before giving some clues about the album where he is working, Aguilera claims to feel fascinated with the return of 2000 pop culture: “He is crazy to witness, but very special.” This also mentions how interesting it is “to see a new generation connect with it to its own way” and especially “references that appear in Halloween’s costumes.”

What can we expect from Christina Aguilera? Bug details. The artist says that during the last “4 or 5 years”, she has gathered a lot of material: “Chapters of my diary, ideas of letters, creative sparks that I have scribbled …”, lists.

After spending too much time on the road, he is now “intentionally taking time to take all those ideas to my new album”: “I want new music and, honestly, to continue surprising myself, and my fans,” concludes the singer.

The photo session, in charge of Charlie Denis, has also given to speak. User Andy French, from the Popjustice forum, “thought that mask was a cover for the reused wader cup.” On the other hand, he says that “the session is so good that it has caused a mass blackout in the Iberian Peninsula.”
