Chiara Oliver is the new number 1 in Spain thanks to the good reception of her EP ‘la libreta rosa’, in which she has worked with producers such as Pablo Rouss, St Woods and Sr Chen, among others.
Although none of Chiara’s songs made it into the top 100 singles charts, ‘La Libreta Rosa’ managed to push Karol G’s ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ up to number 2, just when the Colombian artist was about to arrive in Madrid. Saiko shows her good health by staying in number 3 with ‘Sakura’.
The strongest entry of the week is South Korean band Enhypen with ‘Romance: Untold’, which goes straight to number 12. Argentine Milo J reaches number 14 with ‘166’. Perhaps the news of the week is that Eminem has to settle for number 16 in Spain, while he is number 1 in both the United Kingdom and the United States with ‘The Death of Slim Shady’.
Another notable entry is Cigarettes After Sex’s ‘X’s’ at number 31 in Spain (the previous one was top 26, so it reaches a similar position). In addition, this new album is top 3 in the sub-list of best-selling vinyls in our country. If we look at the international result, the top 12 achieved in the United Kingdom with ‘X’s’ is its best historical figure.
OneRepublic reach number 38 with ‘Artificial Paradise’, and Hermanos Gutiérrez reach number 45 with ‘Sonido cósmico’. The latter is actually the number 1 on the aforementioned vinyl chart in Spain.
The entries are completed by John Lennon’s ‘Mind Games – The Ultimate Collection’ in ’64; Travis’ ‘LA Times’ in ’76; Clairo’s excellent ‘Charm’ in ’81; and John Cale’s ‘Poptical Illusion’ in ’91.
