Bruce Springsteen will accept the “retaliation” of his “political” tour

Bruce Springsteen continues to raise his voice against Donald Trump’s presidency, making it clear that the tour that begins next Tuesday “will be political” and that he is prepared for any type of “retaliation.”

The iconic American artist will begin the ‘Land of Hope And Dreams’ tour next Tuesday, promising to be “political and current with what is happening in the country.” Springsteen has always been a fervent critic of Donald Trump’s policies, mentioning, for example, his “federal thugs” in the recent ‘Streets of Minneapolis’.

“The E Street Band is made for tough times, it’s always been that way,” he told the Minnesota Star Tribune. «These are the moments when I think we can be of great use to the community. These moments fill the band with purpose, so I try to adjust the song list around those ideas,” he clarified.

When asked about the possibility that some fans jump off the Springsteen boat because of his political ideas, he responded that his job is “very simple”: “I do what I want to do, I say what I want to say and then people can say what they want about it. Those are the rules of my game. For me, fine.” Finally, he commented that he is “deeply committed” to his purpose: “Retaliation is only part of it. “I’m ready.”
