Britney Spears tells the Osbourne family to “fuck”

We didn’t see this crossover coming. Britney Spears posted a lengthy statement on Instagram today telling the Osbourne family to “fuck off” after Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne criticized Spears’ dancing videos on social media.

It all started on the Osbourne family podcast, when Ozzy was talking about TikTok dances before focusing on “poor Britney”: “I’m tired of seeing her on YouTube. Every fucking day. It’s sad, very, very sad.” The singer’s criticism was joined by his daughter Kelly, who said she “felt sorry” for Spears, and Sharon Osbourne, who condescendingly referred to her as “poor thing.”

Spears responded to the criticism herself in a lengthy Instagram post and took the opportunity to defend Kate Beckinsale, who has also received criticism for her social media content: “I realized how incredibly cruel people have been on her Instagram, saying that she needs to make age-appropriate content… her response was brutal,” the ‘Baby One More Time’ singer begins.

“Number 1: I barely dance… and number 2: I’m not poor at all!” the singer continues, addressing the Osbournes’ criticism. “I know what it’s like to be judged, but I think it’s important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow,” noting the importance of artists supporting each other.

That said, Spears’ post ends on a high note: “I’m going to do a photo shoot with Kate and tell the Osbourne family, who are the most boring family in the world, to please go fuck themselves!”
